What a patient is checking on a diagnostic lab’s site
- The price of the exact test on their prescription
- Whether they need to fast, and for how long
- When the report will come, and whether it comes on WhatsApp
- Whether you collect from home, and when
Answer those on the first screen and the site has done its job. Everything else is supporting detail.
What we build into a diagnostic lab’s site
- One real page per test and package, with price, preparation, sample and turnaround written out
- A search box, so somebody who knows the test name gets there in one step
- Online booking and payment, and home collection requests that reach the phlebotomist
- Reports delivered to WhatsApp, and a report reader that explains values on the patient's own phone
- Accreditation stated exactly: NABL only for the tests and sites in your scope, never implied for all
- If you run ultrasound, the PCPNDT declaration shown wherever it applies
The rules that bite in your speciality
A NABL logo on every page implies every test and every collection centre is in scope. Show it exactly as your certificate states.
A scan centre must never imply sex determination, and the advertising ban covers the internet as well as print. The declaration that disclosure of the foetus's sex is prohibited must be displayed at the centre; repeating it on the website is good practice. Source ↗
"Full body check" packages should list what they test, not imply they rule everything out.
Every page we build shows each doctor’s name, qualifications and registration number, as the NMC’s guidelines of 6 October 2026 require. Every clinical line is reviewed by a practising consultant and approved by you before it goes live. And we are paid a fixed fee, never per lead or per patient, which those guidelines also forbid. Questions diagnostic labs ask us
Why does every test need its own page?
Because people search for the test on their prescription. A page per test is the difference between being found by somebody holding that prescription and being found only by people who already know your name. It also answers the fasting and report time questions that make people call.
Can patients book home collection online?
Yes. The request goes to whoever schedules the phlebotomist, with the slot, address and tests, rather than sitting in a general inbox.
Can reports go out on WhatsApp?
Yes, through your lab system or an approved WhatsApp business account. We also build smart report pages that explain each value in plain words.
We have many collection centres. Can each have a page?
Yes, with timings, a map and the tests available there, which also helps each one show up in local search.
