The brief
A catalogue of printed designs, a price list, an Instagram page and a counter in Mallepally. Most of their buyers order by phone or come to the shop, and many of them read Hindi, Urdu or Telugu more easily than English.
The hard part of buying lingerie online is the size. The store had to answer that question before it was asked, and it had to keep cash on delivery, because that is how most of their customers pay.
What we built
- The whole store in English, Hindi, Urdu and Telugu, with Urdu laid out right to left and every page checked by a second reader
- A fit finder: two measurements in, a size out, and the right sizes picked on the product page
- Cash on delivery and online payment, with the delivery and cash charges worked out on the server, not in the browser
- Customer accounts with a one-time code, past orders with their status, and order again in one tap
- Use my location at checkout, which fills the area, city and PIN and drops a pin for the delivery partner
- Order tracking, an exchange and return form with photos, and a wholesale enquiry page for shops
- A shop desk for the family: add a design with photos, change a price, mark a size out of stock, follow every order, and publish when ready
The design
A tape measure runs across the page, product facts sit on small woven care labels, and the colours are aubergine and dusty rose on a soft cream. Every product has its own wide share card, so a link sent on WhatsApp shows the piece, not a logo.
How it runs now
New orders reach the family by email the moment they are placed. They add new designs from the shop desk on their own, and the store rebuilds itself within minutes of a change.
